This was triggered by stuff on Facebook.
I already know that I love my country.
That's why I disagree with McCarthyism Revisited and Market Forces Above All Else. That's why I consider Tommy Douglas a hero and not a villain. That's why a mixed private-public economic system will keep us in working order when nothing else can, as it has done since well before Confederation started. And why I don't intend to suffer living in a petro-dictatorship such as we may find in Riyadh. Or a theocracy, for that matter.
But I fear we're headed that way anyway.
Back to the usual stuff and (non)sense tomorrow...
