Timothy Snyder: Decapitation Strike

So I'm looking at Justin Trudeau's trip to visit the Vulgarian this past weekend in that light. Yes, I've read of the reports that the Vulgarian "suggested" that Trudeau become a governor of one of several newly-annexed states. I don't think that Trudeau's interested. Neither am I.

If it were AOC or Jamie Raskin making the "suggestion", I'd consider it more seriously and less nervously. Depending on the terms, it might actually be tempting.

Well as someone from a blue state, I think we'd all prefer to join Canada; what with most of them adjacent territory and all. But I figure ya'll dont want a bunch of yanks mucking things up on your side.

Last time MTG suggested a national divorce my reaction was "sure, I'm fine with that"

Not sure what all is coming but I'm pretty sure it wont be good.

Maybe ya'll could take everything W of the Sierras and Cascades and make it a province or two?

Now hold on just a dern tooten second! Y'all can't just go runnen off and leave the rest of us ahind! I'm closer to Canada than y'all are, what with beaning north of them and all. So, if'n anybo-dee gets ta take a leavening, we're first in line. Or at least second.
